In addition to the main feature of navigating sequentially through the virtual bone hierarchy, there is a feature to select specific bones using Pie Menus. Bone registration is done in the Close Bone Picker Node Editor.

Two nodes are always required for registration: Pie Menu Node and Pie Slot Node. Other nodes are auxiliary nodes for setting up complex conditional branching.

Basic Setup

Link a Pie Slot Node to a Bone, then connect it to each slot of the Pie Menu Node.

After that, select the Pie Menu Node and click the "Send Piemenu to Armature" button in the N-panel to send the Pie Menu settings to the selected Armature.

Conditional Selection

Using other nodes enables you to select bones that match conditional criteria from multiple bones.

Pie L/R Node : Determines which of two inputs is displayed on the left or right side of the 3D View.

Pie Focused Node : Retrieves the visible one or the one with larger scale.

By combining these, you can perform operations such as "select the IK/FK hand bone that is currently in use AND displayed on the right side of the 3D View.”
